आसनसोल 24 दिसंबर ,2020: पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल के भंडार विभाग द्वारा आरडीएसओ द्वारा अनुमोदित रेल परिचालन हेतु आवश्यक संरक्षा संबंधी और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण सामग्रियों की एक प्रदर्शनी मूल्यांकन, प्रोत्साहन एवं विकास हेतु आयोजित की गयी । इस प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन आसनसोल स्टेशन पर 24 .12 .2020 को श्री एमके मीना /अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/ पूर्व रेलवे / आसनसोल के कर-कमलों द्वारा हुआ। भावी विक्रेतागण रेलवे द्वारा सामान्यतः खरीदी जाने वाली सामग्रियों के मूल्यांकन और उनके बारे में जानने -समझने के लिए प्रदर्शनी में आये। जोखिम भरे संरक्षा और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण महत्वपूर्ण सामग्रियों के प्रदर्शन हेतु जहां “वेंडर बेस ” काफी छोटा या संकीर्ण है , उन क्षेत्रों में विक्रेताओं के मार्गदर्शन के लिए यह प्रदर्शनी आयोजित की गई है। सामग्रियों की तकनीकी सूचनाओं के बारे में और इस हेतु पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया जानने के लिए बहुत सारे विक्रेताओं ने इस प्रदर्शनी में भागीदारी की। इन सब के बारे में उन्हें संक्षेप में बतलाया गया। उनसे अनुरोध किया किया गया कि वे इससे संबंधित सूचनाओं का औद्योगिक संस्थानों के बीच व्यापक रूप से प्रचार -प्रसार करें, ताकि इस प्रदर्शनी में प्रस्तुत सामग्रियों के बारे में जानकारी हासिल करने के लिए अधिक -से -अधिक संख्या में भावी विक्रेता इस प्रदर्शनी में आ सकें।
तदनुसार ट्रेन परिचालन के लिए आवश्यक सामग्रियों को जुटाने के लिए औद्योगिक संस्थानों के साथ व्यवसाय को सुगम बनाने में पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल की यह एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है। परिणाम स्वरूप इसके द्वारा भारतीय रेलवे की आपूर्ति -श्रृंखला को मजबूत बनाने और “वेंडर बेस” को बढ़ाने एवं विकसित करने में भरपूर सहायता मिलेगी। इससे स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा बढ़ेगी एवं सामग्रियों की बाधारहित उपलब्धता को सुनिश्चित किया जा सकेगा।
ER ASANSOL DIVISION ORGANISED EXHIBITION OF RDSO APPROVED SAFETY AND OTHER ITEMS TO EXPAND VENDOR BASE
Asansol , December 24, 2020: ER Asansol Division’s Store Department organised an exhibition displaying the exhibits of important RDSO approved safety and other items required for Railway operations for appreciation, encouragement and development. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri M.K.Meena, ADRM/Asansol on 24.12.2020 at Asansol Station. Prospective vendors visited the Exhibitions to understand and appreciate the items normally procured by Railways. For guidance of vendors, for display of critical, safety and other items where vendor base is narrow. Many vendors participated and enquired about technical details of items and procedures for registration. They have been briefed about the same. They have been advised that details regarding such exhibitions will be communicated to Industries for further dissemination of information so that more prospective vendors may visit Exhibition for understanding the details of items.
Accordingly, this is one of the steps taken by Asansol Division of Eastern Railway for ease of doing business with Industries in provisioning of materials required for train operations. In turn, this will enhance and augment the vendor base in time to come and strengthen the supply chain of Indian Railways. This will increase competitiveness and ensure un-interrupted availability of material.
