OM SHARMA,आसनसोल, 22 जनवरी, 2021: पूर्व रेलवे का आसनसोल स्टेशन जल्द ही पूरी तरह से पर्यावरण अनुकूल स्टेशन बनने जा रहा है। पर्यावरण के अनुकूल स्टेशन की दिशा में एक कदम आगे बढ़ते हुए अधिकांश काम पहले ही पूरे हो चुके हैं और कुछ पूरे होने के करीब हैं। समग्र रूप से, बहुत जल्द, यह एक ऐसा स्टेशन बनने जा रहा है जहाँ सभी प्रकार के पर्यावरण के अनुकूल पहलू मौजूद होंगे। सुमित सरकार मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, आसनसोल के गतिशील नेतृत्व में मंडल का यह एक बड़ा प्रयास है।
इस दिशा में गतिविधियों का क्षेत्र निम्नानुसार है:
» स्टेशन क्षेत्र एक ग्रीन बफर जोन बनता जा रहा है जहाँ लैंडस्केप गार्डन के अलावा प्लेटफ़ॉर्म और स्टेशन के आसपास के क्षेत्रों में वर्टिकल गार्डेन जैसे हरियाली दिखाई देगी। आसनसोल स्टेशन और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बड़े पैमाने पर पेड़ों का रोपण किया गया है। वायु प्रदूषण को काफी हद तक नियंत्रित किया जाएगा।
» सफल उपचार, सीवरेज उपचार की व्यवस्था, बायो-गैस संयंत्र, वर्षा जल संचयन, अपशिष्ट पदार्थों का रि-सायकिलिंग (पुनर्चक्रण), ठोस अपशिष्ट(कचरा) प्रबंधन का कार्य चल रहा है। प्लास्टिक कटिंग मशीन पहले ही लगाया जा चुका है। अपशिष्ट(कचरा) कनवर्टर के माध्यम से, स्टेशन के रसोई कचरे को खाद में परिवर्तित किया जाएगा जिसका उपयोग ग्रीन बफर जोन में किया जाएगा।
» स्टेशन स्थित आरक्षण कार्यालय के पास ई-वाहन चार्जिंग पॉइंट स्थापित किए गए हैं।
» स्टेशन पार्किंग क्षेत्र को फिर से व्यवस्थित किया गया है। ऑटो रिक्शा, साइकिल रिक्शा और निजी वाहन के लिए अलग-अलग क्षेत्र चिह्नित किए गए हैं।
» स्टेशन और उसके आसपास के वायु प्रदूषण के स्तर को मापने के लिए स्टेशन बिल्डिंग की छत के शीर्ष पर एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स बोर्ड स्थापित किया गया है।
» सोलर पैनल पहले से ही रिटायरिंग रूम की छत पर मौजूद हैं जो वहां पानी गर्म करने के उद्देश्य से काम करता है। ऑक्सीजन पार्क में सोलर लाइट काम कर रहा है। आसनसोल मंडल में 3 मेगा वाट सौर पैनलों की स्थापना के लिए मेगा प्रोजेक्ट के पहले चरण के तहत, आसनसोल स्टेशन भवन की छत पर जल्द ही 51 किलो वाट का सौर पैनल स्थापित होने जा रहा है।
» दिव्यांग (निःशक्तजन) व्यक्तियों की सुविधा के लिए पूरे स्टेशन परिसर में ब्रेल साइनेज प्रदर्शित किया गया है।
» स्टेशन के सामने ‘रेस्टूरेंट ऑन व्हील’ एक अनूठी संकल्पना(अवधारणा) है और इस क्षेत्र में अपनी तरह का यह पहला है।
» आसनसोल स्टेशन पूर्ण रूप से पर्यावरण अनुकूल जोन बनने जा रहा है। स्टेशन ने इंडियन ग्रीन बिल्डिंग काउंसिल सर्टिफिकेशन के लिए आवेदन किया है क्योंकि यह पहले से ही आईएसओ 9001,14001,45001 प्रमाणित स्टेशन है।
ER ASANSOL STATION GOING TO BE A COMPLETE ECO- FRIENDLY STATION
Asansol, 22 January, 2021.Eastern Railway’s Asansol station is going to be a complete eco-friendly station soon. As a step towards an environment friendly station, a no. of works has already been completed and some are nearing completion. As a whole, very soon, it is going to be such a station where all sorts of environment friendly aspects will be there. This is a big endeavor of the Division under the dynamic leadership of Shri Sumit Sarkar, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol.
Area of activities in this field is as under:
– The station area is becoming a green buffer zone where greeneries like vertical gardens will be seen at platforms and station surrounding area, apart from landscape garden. Massive plantation of trees has been made in and around Asansol station. Air pollution will be controlled to a large extent.
– Effluent Treatment, sewerage treatment arrangement, Bio-Gas plant, rain water harvesting, recycling of waste materials, solid waste management are underway. Plastic shredded machine has already been installed. Through Waste converter, station kitchen waste will be converted to manure which will be used in green buffer zone.
– e- vehicle charging points have been set up near Reservation office at the station.
– Station parking area has been re-organized. Separate zones for Auto Rickshaw, Cycle Rickshaw and Private Vehicle have been marked.
– Air Quality Index Board for measuring the air pollution level at the station and its surroundings has been installed at the roof-top of the station building.
-Solar panels are already existed at the roof-top of the Retiring Room that serves the purpose of heating water there. Solar light has been working at Oxygen Park. Under the first phase of the mega project for installation of 3 MWp Solar Panels in Asansol Division, Asansol station is getting 51 KWp solar panel to be installed at the roof-top of the station building soon.
– Braille Signage has been displayed throughout the station premises to facilitate differently-able persons.
-Restaurant-on-Wheels in front of the station is a unique concept and first of its kind in this zone.
– A complete eco-friendly zone is coming up at Asansol station. The station has applied for Indian Green Building Council Certification as it is already a ISO 9001,14001,45001 Certified station.
