आसनसोल, जनवरी 26, 2021 : पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल द्वारा मंडल रेलवे स्टेडियम (लोको ग्राउंड), आसनसोल में 26.01.2021 (मंगलवार) को 72वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया गया। श्री सुमित सरकार, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल ने इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया। रेलवे सुरक्षा बल की टुकड़ी, भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स के स्वयंसेवकों और सेंट जॉन्स एंबुलेंस के सदस्यों द्वारा सम्मान गारद पेश की गई।
अपने भाषण में श्री सरकार, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, आसनसोल ने भारत के स्वतंत्रता संघर्ष में नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस के शानदार योगदान को स्मरण किया।
मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, श्री सरकार ने उल्लेख किया कि कोविड-19 महामारी के बावजूद आसनसोल मंडल के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने अथक कार्य किया और इसके परिणाम स्वरूप मंडल ने काफी अच्छा कार्य निष्पादन किया। इस वर्ष 10 जनवरी, 2021 तक गुड्स अर्जन रू 2355.57 करोड़ रहा, जोकि विगत वर्ष की समान अवधी की तुलना में 24.87% अधिक है। 10.01.2021 तक इस मंडल का कुल अर्जन रू 2414.11 रहा है, जोकि विगत वर्ष की तुलना में 8.35% अधिक है। जनवरी,2021 (108 ट्रेन) में 9 दिनों में 100% की सर्वोत्तम मेल/एक्सप्रेस समयनिष्ठा का लक्ष्य प्राप्त किया गया। उन्होंने सूचित किया कि दिसंबर, 2020 तक मंडल ने गुड्स ट्रेनों के लिए निर्धारित 50 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की औसत गति लक्ष्य की तुलना में 52.6 किमीप्रघं की गति प्राप्त करने में सफलता हासिल की है। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि यात्री सुख-सुविधा उपलब्ध कराना हमारे लिए केंद्रित विषय है, नवनिर्मित अर्जुन नगर हाल्ट स्टेशन का उद्घाटन किया गया, आसनसोल स्टेशन स्थित वीआईपी कक्ष का नवीकरण , आसनसोल स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म सं.4 के धुलाई योग्य कपड़ों का नवीकरण किया गया। अप्रैल,2020 से दिसंबर, 2020 तक यार्ड, लाइन और लोको शेड में लोको को शट डाउन करके कुल 268776 लीटर एचएसडी तेल अर्थात लगभग रू 16126500/- की बचत की गई। जसीडीह में दो एस्केलेटर की संस्थापना की गई और उन्हें चालू किया गया। एलईडी प्रकाश व्यवस्था के साथ 224 रेलवे क्वार्टरों की री-वायरिंग की गई।
ऊर्जा संरक्षण उपाय के अंतर्गत विगत वर्ष की तुलना में अप्रैल से दिसंबर, 2020 के दौरान ऊर्जा की खपत में कमी लाते हुए लगभग 15.43 लाख यूनिट ऊर्जा की खपत में कमी लाई गई। आसनसोल मंडल में 2020-21 में कोयला साइडिंग स्थित 4491अनलोडेबल वैगनों की मरम्मत की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि इस मंडल में रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के लिए नए कमरे की व्यवस्था, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय के प्रवेश द्वार पर शेड का प्रावधान, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय कैंटीन का नवीकरण, मंडल रेल कार्यालय में नए महिला शौचालय का प्रावधान, सेवारत एवं सेवानिवृत्त कर्मियों के लिए ई-पास सिस्टम का सफलतापूर्वक क्रियान्वयन किया गया, साथ ही ऑनलाइन भविष्य निधि निकासी सिस्टम की भी प्रभावशाली शुरुआत की गई है ।
कोविड-19 संकट काल के दौरान मंडल रेल अस्पताल, आसनसोल को नवीनतम डिजाइन के बेडों, वार्डों में ऑक्सीजन पाइप लाइन, हाई एंड ऑक्सीजन नेबुलाइजर, डायग्नोस्टिक मॉनिटर आदि के साथ रिवैंप किया गया। रेलवे के डॉक्टरों और पैरा-मेडिकल कर्मियों ने कोविड-19 महामारी काल के दौरान मृत्यु के मामलों को न्यूनतम रखने के प्रयास में अथक परिश्रम किया है।
आगे, उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि लेखा, संरक्षा और सुरक्षा, पर्यावरण एवं कर्मचारी कल्याण आदि क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य-प्रदर्शन को हासिल किया गया। वर्ष के दौरान रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के विभिन्न अभियानों यथा थंडरस्टॉर्म, थंडरबोल्ट, ऑपरेशन डिग्निटी, ऑपरेशन प्रबाल, ऑपरेशन सशक्त दिव्यांग का सफलतापूर्वक संचालन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर आरपीएफ डॉग स्क्वाड के उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन ने दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया।
पूर्व रेलवे भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स तथा मंडल सांस्कृतिक एसोसिएशन द्वारा एक रंगारंग सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुति की गई।
इस अवसर पर श्री एम.के. मीना, अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक सहित सभी शाखा अधिकारीगण, श्रीमती स्मिता सरकार, अध्यक्ष, ईरवो/आसनसोल और ईरवो/आसनसोल की अन्य सदस्यगण, भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स के स्वयंसेवक तथा काफी संख्या में कर्मचारीगण उपस्थित थे।
इसके बाद श्री सुमित सरकार, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, आसनसोल ने मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय, आसनसोल स्थित नवीकृत पुराने मंडल सभाकक्ष (चाणक्य) का उद्घाटन किया।
बाद में श्री सरकार, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, आसनसोल ने भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स, आसनसोल जिला के ट्रैफिक कॉलोनी/आसनसोल स्थित स्काउट डेन में भी राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया।
72nd REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED BY ER ASANSOL DIVISION AT DIVISIONAL RAILWAY STADIUM, ASANSOL
Asansol, January 26, 2021: 72nd Republic Day was celebrated by Asansol Division of Eastern Railway at Divisional Railway Stadium (Loco Ground), Asansol on 26.01.2021 (Tuesday). Shri Sumit Sarkar, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol unfurled the National Flag on this occasion. Guard of Honour was presented by the RPF contingent, Volunteers of Bharat Scouts and Guides and Members of St. John’s Ambulance.
In his speech, Shri Sarkar, DRM, Asansol remembered the glorious contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in the freedom struggle of India.
DRM, Shri Sarkar mentioned that, despite COVID-19 pandemic, officers and employees of Asansol Division worked relentlessly and as a result of this, the Division performed very well. This year, the goods earning till 10th Jan’21 has been Rs.2355.57 crores which is 24.87% higher than corresponding period of last year. Total earning of this division has been till 10.01.2021, Rs.2414.11 crores which is 8.35% more than last year.Best ever Mail/Exp punctuality of 100% was recorded on nine days in the month of Jan’21 (108 trains). The Division has been able to increase average speed of goods trains to 52.6 Kmph (upto Dec’20) against target of 50 kmph, he informed. He also added that Passenger amenity is the focus area, newly built Arjun Nagar Halt station was inaugurated, renovation of VIP Room at Asansol station, thorough renovation of Washable Apron at Asansol Station at Platform No.4 have been done. A total of 268776 litters HSD oil (approx. Rs.16126500/-) saved from April-2020 to Dec-2020 by shutting down of locos in yard, on line and Loco Shed. Two escalators have been installed and commissioned at Jasidih. 224 railway quarters have been rewired with LED luminaries. As energy conservation measure, consumption of energy has been reduced by approx 15.43 lakhs units from April to Dec’20, compared to last year. Asansol division repaired 4491 unloadable wagons at coal siding in 2020-21. He also added that Provision of New Room for RPF and Shed at the entrance of DRM office, Renovation of DRM office Canteen, Provision of new ladies’ toilet at DRM office, provision of small bus stand near DRM office, E-pass system for serving & retired employees have been successfully implemented in this division, on line PF withdrawal system has also been effectively introduced. Divisional Railway Hospital, Asansol has been revamped during COVID-19 period with latest design beds, oxygen pipeline at wards, high end oxygen nebulisers, diagnostic monitors etc. Railway doctors and para medical staffs have worked tirelessly during COVID-19 pandemic period to keep the death case to a minimum.
He also added that excellent performance was achieved on Accounts, Safety and Security, Environment & Staff welfare etc. During the year, various drives of RPF viz., thunderstorm, thunderbolt, Operation dignity, Operation Prabal, Operation Shashakt Divyang were carried out.
A Performance of RPF Dog Squad enthralled the audience on the occasion.
A colorful cultural programme was presented by Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides and Divisional Cultural Association.
On this occasion, Shri M.K.Meena, Addl. Divisional Railway Manager along with all the Branch Officers of the Division, Smt. Smita Sarkar, President ERWWO/Asansol and the others members of ERWWO/Asansol, Volunteers of BS&G, and a large number of staff were present.
Thereafter, Shri Sumit Sarkar, DRM/Asansol inaugurated renovated Old Divisional Meeting Room (Chanakya) at DRM’s office/Asansol .
Later, Shri Sarkar, DRM, Asansol also unfurled the National Flag at Scouts Den of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Asansol District at Traffic Colony, Asansol.
